I joined a Mastermind group 8 years ago. I walked into the hotel and sat down… just me and 4 guys.

One of the guys pulls out a ‘poem’ and reads it – felt more like we were in the Scouts and this was us swearing an oath to be honest with each other and support each other.

Things kicked off fast at the round table, these guys were excellent business owners earning a lot more than me at the time and here we were talking about such small challenges that they had within their businesses. I was able to help them all and in turn they all helped me … I knew after the first session I belonged with these guys despite the different income levels, business styles and years in business – we all needed to ‘connect’.

I returned a week later all my ‘homework’ done, my ‘Asks’ were written out for the group and I was ready and so excited to hear their ‘Asks’ and help.

And thus began the weekly mastermind that I can contribute so much of my success to. It opened doors, opened my mind, the guys gave me some home truths we were not afraid to offend … We were there to grow.

One day one of the guys said ‘Gill you prostitute your time with people’ I will never forget these words! It has taken a lot of practice but now I am so protective of my time … I have learnt many hacks to do this which I will share with you in the Mastermind.

• This is a 6-month online Mastermind
• We begin with a Pre-Mastermind deep dive evaluation questionnaire
• You will be asked to complete some Pre-Mastermind self-discovery tasks
• 1 Meet up per month, the sessions will be 2 hours – they will take place on ZOOM with the option of in person meet up for the last one depending on Covid19.
• Limited to 6 people per group
• I will be the facilitator of the group
• Each month will be themed with topics such as Self Discovery, Business Discovery, The Future Discovery, The Giver in you.
• We will follow the book Traction discussing each topic so at the end of the 6 months you have plan in place covering areas of your business such as Data, Vision, People and more
• Each month I will talk about a topic, we will assign homework to be completed on or before the next meet up. This is an active group, there will be work to do!
• Each month you will have time to express yourself, share goals, intentions and seek accountability or advice from the group – this is where we see the real growth in people
• Within the group I will match people for peer support so you will have more elements of accountability within the group – Optional
